The program enhances English skills through different activities and projects.
Extracurricular Activities: Enhancing Language Learning Opportunities As part of our extracurricular offerings, we provide an optional integrative activity led by course teachers and native-speaking instructors in the afternoons. This initiative is designed to enrich students' language skills beyond the standard curriculum.
Enhancement Project for Final Certification Exams Our enhancement project also prepares students for a final examination conducted by a recognized foreign certifying body. As part of this exam, students will engage in a brief conversation with a native speaker. The certifying body for this exam is Trinity College London, and we are proud to be registered as an official Trinity Center, allowing students to take their exams directly at our school.
Cambridge Exams (Secondary Level) For secondary students, we offer preparation for the English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) exams, organized by the University of Cambridge. These exams, which have grown in scope over the years, assess students' English proficiency across the four key skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
Increased Exposure to English Instruction To further support language development, we have integrated additional English lessons into the school day, which is refered to as Content and language Integrated Learning (CLIL) A native-speaking teacher will be involved in all classes, enhancing the students' learning experience by incorporating English into various subjects.
Study Trips and Summer Camp Opportunities To complement classroom learning, we also offer valuable experiential learning opportunities. During the school year, students can participate in a one-week study trip abroad, organized in collaboration with a Home to Home Association. Additionally, at the end of June, we host an English Summer Camp on our school grounds and organized in partnership with the Associazione Inglese Insieme.
